You stay composed. You minimise. You focus on what needs to get done.
From the outside you look fine. You're functioning. You're getting on with it. People around you probably think you're handling it well.
But there's a difference between looking okay and actually being okay. Your system protects through distance. That's what it learned to do. And right now it's doing its job.
